About This Book
- An introduction accompanying the “Arabic Between the Hands of Our Children” series, and a gateway to teaching basic reading and writing skills, including spelling and writing letters.
- The student learns letters in both isolated and connected forms and practices joining letters.
- It is presented alongside the conversational introduction.
- It is preferred that teaching it does not exceed two weeks, and it is intended only for beginner (zero-level) students.
- The letters are arranged according to ease of writing (based on minimal change when connected).
Writing practice includes:
- Starting by tracing the target letter in its various forms with a pencil.
- Then writing the letter independently.
- Then tracing over words with a pencil.
- Then writing words. More exercises will follow at the end of each unit in Level One.
Additional features:
- Words are chosen from well-known proper names so that the student is not distracted by thinking about meanings.
- This method avoids the drawbacks of traditional teaching approaches.
