Description
About This Book:

Dear readers, you have surely come across many stories that highlight the piety and noble character of Uthman. He was so good in fact that the Prophet Muhammad married two ofhis daughters to him. The Messenger first gave him the hand of his elder daughter, Ruqqayyali,.; and after her death, he married his second daughter, Umm Kulthum , to him. The Prophet Muhammad , later said, "If I had more daughters, I would also give a third one in marriage to Sayyedna Uthman This narration alone makes clear the high esteem in which the Messenger held Uthman. The Caliphate of Sayyedna Uthman was a period during which the Muslims enjoyed success and prosperity; it was also a period of great military success for the Muslim Nation. In this work, we will discuss and learn about the great generals of the Muslim army, the many lands the Muslim army conquered, and the many other wonderful achievements and advancements that took place for the Muslim Nation due to the sound leadership and dedication of Sayyedna Uthman Both before and during his caliphate, Uthman accomplished many great feats; I have endeavored to catalogue as many of them as possible in this book. In my humble opinion, his greatest achievement was to give permission to Muawiyah to make ships and establish a military presence on the high seas. Up until that time, only the Romans had a respectable naval force. That reality soon changed, for within a year of Uthman's order, the Muslims established a respectable naval force, having built 100 naval ships.
