The 'Seventy-Seven Branches of Faith' is a compilation of Quranic verses and Prophet Muhammad sayings compiled by Imam al-Bayhaqi about 458 A.H. In this work, he describes the essential characteristics of authentic faith (iman). These seventy-seven branches represent the key traits and actions that a true believer should possess or strive towards.

Complete faith consists of three parts:

• All the key aspects of faith must be believed in your heart.
• Saying these vital things out loud.
• Taking action on these critical issues.

As a result, the "77 Branches of Faith" are classified into three categories:

• The first category is concerned with what you think and how you act from your heart.
• The second group is concerned with what you say.
• The third category is concerned with what you do with your body.
