From the book:
It is well-known to every Muslim what lies in studying the Sīrah of the Prophet (May Allah raise his rank & grant him peace) of great benefits, blessed effects, and huge fruits which are produced in the Muslim’s worldly life as well as the Hereafter.
His Sīrah (May Allah raise his rank & grant him peace) is the most brilliant Sīrah to purify the hearts of the believing servants. It is the Sīrah of the leader of the pious, the model example for all mankind, and leader of all the children of Adam.
Studying his Sīrah is a study of the Sīrah of the one whom Allāh (Glorified and Exalted) has made as an example for His servants. As Allāh says,
“Indeed, in the Messenger of Allāh (Muḥammad (May Allāh raise his rank & grant him peace) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allāh and the Last Day and remembers Allāh much.” [Sūrah al-Ahzāb 33:21]
It deepens love for him in the heart and spreads it. The Prophet (May Allah raise his rank & grant him peace) said,
“None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his child, his father, and all the people.”
The Sīrah of the Prophet (May Allah raise his rank & grant him peace) has a great impact on the servant with regards to actualize emulating him (May Allah raise his rank & grant him peace). Mainly because emulating him (May Allah raise his rank & grant him peace) is a branch of knowledge from his guidance and learning of his Sīrah (May Allah raise his rank & grant him peace).
