Today people have become so arrested by the love of the material world [dunya] that they are always occupied with obtaining its goods. Outwardly they speak of love for Allah to console their hearts. However, the truth of the matter is that in the Court of the King of Love, there is no such thing as the division of the heart. There, one must step with concentration and deliberation and must close the eyes of one's heart to everything but Allah.
