Issues related to Islam might seem to be sensitive to discuss and to investigate. However, with the breaking up of cultural barriers amongst people of various Faiths, it becomes necessary that wrong notions be rectified through objective discussion and a logical presentation. Due to many various reasons people have cultivated so many misconceptions regarding Islam: Belief and Practice. Some of the most commonly asked questions by Muslims as well as non-Muslims About Dr. Abdul Karim Awad The Author is a university graduate who has found great interest in language teaching and learning as well as in translation and research development. As part of his strategic personal development, he has obtained a BA, MA, Mphil, Post Doctorate degree and two PhD's. The first is an Applied Linguistic and Cultural Diversity (2002). The second is in Translating Arabic into English with special reference to Qur'anic Discourse (2005). He has also received on-the-job training for teaching and research supervision. Gained over 20 years teaching experience in various parts of the World as well as a number of years of research. The author is an Imam at Rhyl Culture Centre in North Wales and is head teacher in Liverpool Islamic Institute for teaching languages and Islamic studies. He has written a number of books, mainly "Branches of Faith", "Fasting in Ramadan" and "Signs of the End of this World".
