About This Book:
John Moyne and Coleman Barks' compilation and translation of "Unseen Rain: Quatrains of Rumi" is a fascinating work of literature. Rumi, a well-known Persian poet, and mystic, is included in this compilation of his insightful and motivational quatrains (short poems). Coleman Barks and John Moyne are renowned Rumi scholars and translators. They have devoted their efforts to spreading the word about Rumi's poetry and making it available to readers who speak English while maintaining the integrity and beauty of the original writings.Moyne and Barks provide a selection of Rumi's quatrains in "Unseen Rain," which are renowned for their profound knowledge, enlightening spirituality, and poetic brilliance. The quatrains discuss a range of subjects, including love, spirituality, personal growth, and the mysteries of life. The translators make an effort to express the profundity of Rumi's messages as well as the spirit of his words in their interpretations. In some languages of the Middle East the word for rain and the word for grace are the same. These quatrains are evidence of the invisible grace falling on our earth a grace received by the mature spirit of master poet, Jelaluddin Rumi.
